ANNOUNCEMENTS

WELCOME HOME CLASS:  Our VBC orientation class is from 8:45-10:00 am. This will be in the Discipleship Room just down the hall from the Children’s Ministry check-in desk. New to the Church? Join Jim Ray as he guides us through who we are and what we believe.

MISSIONS TRIP TO ALASKA:  Interested in being a part of a mission trip to Anchorage, Alaska?  Join a team from Samaritan’s Feet International as we embark on this mission from August 23-31 2024.  Workers are needed who are willing to share the gospel with those needing a pair of shoes. We will be providing shoes and ministering to Inuit people, the homeless, and others who are economically disadvantaged around Anchorage and Soldotna.  WEEKLY EVENTS

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28^TH      

10:00 am-12:00 pm OASIS FOOD PANTRY serves +/- 250 families each month. 

5:30 pm FELLOWSHIP DINNER in Fellowship Hall. RSVP on the Connection Card under prayer. The menu will also be listed. Suggested donation is $5 per person or $15 per family. The menu will be Marry Me Chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, and gooey butter cake.

6:15 pm PRAISE & PRAYER SERVICE Open to ALL! In the Fellowship Hall. The Children & Youth PreK-5^th will meet in the Oasis.  We are collecting babysitting referrals for the nursery. 

7:00 pm CHOIR REHEARSAL Join us in the choir room as we lift praise to God in song.  New “worshippers” welcome!

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 29^TH     

9:30 –11:00 am WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY “The Names of God,” with Joanne Morris in the Conference room. 

1:45 – 3:45 pm WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY “The Study of Romans,” with Kathy Johnson in Fellowship Hall. 

7:30 am (3^RD Thurs.) COOPER CHAPEL PRAYER VIGIL is open for prayer warriors to pray against human trafficking in America!

NATIONAL COLLEGIATE DAY OF PRAYER go online to join Christians around the nation.

SUNDAY, MARCH 3^RD 

9:00 am & 10:30 am WORSHIP SERVICE IN WORSHIP CENTER - Communion is served during the Worship Services on the 1st Sunday of the month and available to you at 10:10 am in the Prayer Chapel on all the other Sundays. 

9:00 am CHILDREN SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES for all “Village Kids” Nursery 0-4yrs; PreK–2^ND. 3^rd – 5^th.

10:30 am CHILDREN’S CHURCH Nursery 0-4 yrs., K–5^TH Oasis, and SUNDAY SCHOOL 6^TH-8^TH D-Group Room, 9^TH-12^TH in the Library.

     11:00 am – 1:00 pm  WHITE CROSS MISSION MINISTRY helps Tandala Hospital in the Congo.

     11:00 am – 1:00 pm  KniTTogether Ministry:  Knit or crochet hats for the community.

6:00-7:30 pm MEN’S BIBLE STUDY “Through the Bible” led by Joe Avila in the Conference Rm.

6:00-7:30 pm INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP FOR WOMEN Tuesday evening, in the Chapel Prayer Room adjacent to the kitchen.   

6:00-7:30 pm INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP FOR MEN: “My Identity In Christ” is being offered again on Tuesday evenings starting, February 6th, in the Fellowship Hall.
